... On sunday may 29th, 2005, fpcm
did his interpretation of Vicky's Mosquitos, live in the rain,
in the garden of galery Dit Eiland, in Hollum, on the Dutch island of Ameland,
using nothing but his voice, transposed by leading it through Apple's Garageband.
His performance was part of the ZandOog
Placard, the final prologue to the eight edition of the 'international
headphone festival' ...
[VM02] - february 20, 2005
... On sunday february 20th, 2005, i8u
did a 'play with Vicky' as her contribution to the
second loft-concert, in the Etay loft in Montreal, Canada ...
i8u actually worked out a double play with Vicky : one used ProTools on
a black Mac G3-Powerbook ; and a second one on an Apple TiBook, using a
patch she wrote for Max ... During the 'loftconcert' she mixzed both approaches
into one fifteen minute play ...
[VM01] - october 23, 2004
... On saturday october 23th, 2004, DaveX
world-premiered a 'play with Vicky', live on his "It's
Too Damn Early" show, broadcasted from WDBX 91.1FM, a not-for-profit
community radio station in Southern Illinois ... He used samples from Vicky's
recitation to replace the original audio files of a computer game : Carmageddon2,
"a racing death match sort of game" ...
