One of the three bits of tape that I picked up in Brussels during my Found Tapes Exhibition and Installing at Käämer 12. Spotted while driving along the avenue Fonsny, near where it crosses the Zwedenstraat, with Jean-Jacques Duerinckx. On it "a french group called Le Silence des Mosquées ('the silence of the mosques'). We hear part of Cri de Bosnie ... " ... already found once before as nr.376 ...( See picture)600.
On my way back I see a small strand, from a different tape, a little further on in the gutter.599.
On my way to visit Jean Bordé, in the gutter, near house nr. 7. Arabic music, which on one side suddenly is interrupted by a recording - very low level and hardly audible - of woman speaking or reading a text. (see photo)598.
In gutter, on the corner with the Ceintuurbaan (see photo). 2 of the 3 fragments are identified by Shazam as from tracks by the american R&B group 3T (24/7, Brotherhood).
